We have created a listserve for fans of the game of American Mah Jongg to connect with others to form a game.

Here’s the way it works:  First, you should subscribe to the listserve and thereby become a member by clicking on the following link:

After you become a member, you may communicate with everyone else who is a member by sending an email to the listserve email address, and you will receive all the emails sent to the listserve by other members.  No one except those of us at bamcrak.com can see a list of all members and their email addresses.

To communicate with other members of the listserve, send an email to:  findagame@lists.bamcrak.com.  When you send an email to the listserve, please give general information about what kind of players you are looking for, like level, geography, age range (if that matters to you) and when you are available to play (nights, weekends, daytime and any particular say of the week).  If you live in New York City, you may wish to be specific about where in Manhattan and in the five boroughs you are willing to travel to play.  Please also tell people how to contact you if they wish to play (an email address or cell phone number are good methods).  You may wish to omit specific identifying information about yourself, such as your last name and the address where you live, when you send a message to the entire list.

The messages sent to the listserve will be moderated to ensure that the listserve is used only for its intended purpose.  Messages sent for reasons unrelated to Mah Jongg will be omitted.

Please be careful when meeting others through the listserve.  For example, you should not provide personal information about yourself (like your last name or address) until after you have met someone and decide you can trust them.  You should meet new people in a public place, until you decide you can trust them.  The folks at bamcrak.com have not met everyone who uses the listserve, so we cannot vouch for anyone who you may contact or who may contact you.
